so this may or may not be a stupid question but if i have a n/a 4g63 6 bolt block am i right to assume that u have to change out the crankshaft as well as the rest of the internals. my friends says i shouldnt have too but pretty sure i have too. by the way i forgot to say thnx for the help on my last post.

Sounds like your planning on a 6 bolt swap?  You can reuse all the internals BUT the pistons.  1g 4g63 turbo/non turbo blocks are identical minus a few things. (oil squirters and pistons)
