I have a 99 eclispe gc coupe and the otherday i was driving and i pushed in the clutch and started braking and then all the sudden it felt like i let out the clutch but i didnt and it just ripped into gear and now it wont go into gear and i cant drive...does anyone no what happend?.. Me and my freind found out that the back transmission mount is broke but we dont no if thats the problem or not..

The only spring pressure that releases the clutch is from the clutch itself. Either the hydraulic line to the slave cylinder broke because of the broken trans. mount, or the master or slave cylinder is worn out. Inspect under the vehicle to see if there is fluid leaking, check clutch master for fluid level. If the slave fails there is going to be fliud leak there. If no fluid leak then your master needs replacing. You may want to replace both since it may be about due for both.
