My Spyder has the Sportstronic Transmission ....... I was wondering how many of you actually shift their Sportstronic Transmission and what is the advantages to it besides taking off faster from the line to beat the car besides you to get into his lane LOL

I was told you dont save gas like a manual transmission.

I shift mine.  However I dont think there is ANY advantage to it at all other than shift points.  It does not accel faster from stop what happens is you shift it when you want not when the ECU wants.  I dont think it saves gas at all seeing as to how you cant shift at low RPMS it wont let you. like if your going 30mph you cant go into 4th

It was sort of a factory useless option.

Yea taht day was eventful.  1st you beat the GT (yes it was a v8) then I beat him right after, he was cool too which is rare.  Then we ran into that Blue modded Evo and I raced him and destroyed him somehow I think mainly cause he was untuned and I had a tuned SAFC cause otherwise we had identical mods.   THEN we ran into that ricer mustang GT that almost crashed his car from spinning his tires trying to race you.  then I pulled up and he and his girl were laughing at me.  next thing you know im 8 car lengths ahead and he didnt come mess around with us after that
