Ok i share and office with a garage a 95 gst just came in . 17yr old kid had it. Looks like the dad is not gonna spend the money to fix it. no sure what the problem is. (maybe bend vaules) so Im think of trying to buy it from him. for a couple hundred. I have a 97 rs. I know it cant be swaped but what would it cost to but a new engine in ?The 95 gst not the rs. I just figure I should save the car instead of letting it get trashed uknow. I got love for the 2g and wanna keep it on the road

Also anyone know what the problem might be?the mech said its not showing and codes so?? and he said theres just no compression.??

New engine over fixing this one whick is better??

Well it depends on how many miles are on it, if it is 100+ with the original then I would say new engine. You could also do a 6 bolt swap so you never have to worry about crankwalk.

what are the actual compression #'s on all the cylinders. It would be pretty rare to see absolute zero on all cylinders

Even if you can get it for under a grand, do it. Drop a 6 bolt in it when you have the extra chedda, the sell teh b1tch and make some money.

the only way its gonna be 0 on all the cylinders is if the timings off or if the valves are bent.

Check the timing first off. That will pretty much tell you.

Are the compression numbers dead zero?
