I need some shock but after all the brake work i did on my car i have little money left so i am looking for the least expensive ones i can get ride doesnt matter anything is better than what i got right know. i found these on ebay and was woundering if they would be ok for the price, i still need ti by the spring but i think there somewere around $50 buck so If i add them together it about $223 for what i need what do you think. take a look

I will always suggest doing it right the first time.
If you don't care about ride quality, just get oem struts from your local car parts store. It's cheaper than getting sh1tty struts and spring that will give you a sh1tty ride, and blow out your tires in teh next 200 miles.

Yeah but the dealer wants $814 for  shocks and springs.

Fuk teh dealer. Struts are cheap as hell at advanced. What's wrong with your springs? I have a set i'll sell you for $50 plus shipping.

The spring are cut. and since they are cut im assuming the shocks are bad, is there anyway to check that. i just found a used set at a place for $200 but not sure if i should trust them. they said the car they toke them off had 95Kmiles and were still good. also im not to much of a machanic so i will have to pay someone to install these. unless it's not to hard. will they be that hard to install, i got the time to try.

Rob what are you talking about. There is nothing wrong with KYB gr-2's. They are actually alittle better than stock struts. Id say that is your best bet IMO. The KYB's are even better than crap from advanced.

As long as you're sure they're the real ones then ya id say get the gr2's. And yeah they are better than advanced, although advanced sells a good brand I like but of coure can't member the name,haha
Autozone on the other hand sells gabriel and they suck big time. And as for springs yeah get used stock ones, which are dirt cheap. And yeah ur struts are 99% gone, cuz when you cut springs the shock doesn't have enough cushon to absorb the shocks of the roads

when buying the springs or coils are they all universal or do some fit some dont.
