So Emonz, i've been reading and lurking to hell out of EvolutionM.

Heres the info I have gathered...

Clutch lasts about 20k miles.
Is this under normal driving, because I won't be boosting the car or racing it unless its every once in a blue moon?
If thats still the case, whats a good clutch for around $500 or so?

They're (Evo's) alot of maintainence. Pretty much oil change every 4k, then service all fluids every 12k.

Stok, they're not really that fast, but an opened up intake and exhaust make a world of difference.
20k on a clutch is average (for track users)  I never launched my car.  and my clutch with full bolt ons never died on my.  I had 41k when I took it out and it still had some life left on it.

otherwise the rest goes as follows based on averages and on my car.

Stock tires (if you still have advans on there)  Every 20k will be bald
Brake pads 20-30k
Rotors 30-40k (althouhg I still have the stockers on there)
tranny oil ever 6-9k
Tcase oil every 6-9k  (both lean closer to 6k)
oil 3000 miles (i do 1500-2000 miles but I am a freak)
sparkplugs every other oil change (if you like to boost alot)
timing belt at 60k

ect ect

What do you guys do for trannies to beef them up when you are running over stock hp in the 300+ range?  Do you put in straight cut and better gears?  The fewtimes I use to drive the GS-T hard it would feel as though the tranny would not last if I kept doing it, no real problems but it just doesn't feel that it should be abused.  I use to drive a heavy duty 4 speed and clutch in a 450hp rear wheel drive car that was built for abuse, but the stock tranny, clutch and axles feel at their limit with 210hp on my Eclipse.

Estraw, did you get the letter and pictures about the Chevelle?  It uploaded them faster than normal making me think that it didn't do it right, and it didn't show in 'sent'.
the Eclipse is a much different animal compaired to an Evo.   My stock tranny is still 100% at a little over 400WHP I only had to put in a clutch to help harness the power and ease it through the drivetrain so I got a twin disc clutch in my tranny

depends on the driver.  mine is cool where im at.  alot of people start the tcase tranny thing around 500-600 unless they break them sooner which does happen often since people love to launch the piss out of them and power shift them

Well... i'm not planning on dogging mine at all, as it will be my daily driver for another 3 weeks.

Even after then, I am getting a warranty, so I am only doing intake, tbe, and the rest in the looks dept.

The advans are no longer on the car. I have a set of 4 Hankook Ventus V4 es's at the shop that were going to go on the Tib, but they're a 215/45/17... I got them friday, so what i'll do is send em back saying they're the wrong size and something new in return.

+1 for working at a dealership!

Evo tires need to be 235s.  but if you get the choice get like 255s they are so much better being wider

*UPDATE*
The guy thats buying my Tib, me and my girlfriend, and my roomate and his lady, all went to eat at the mans resturant.
He told me "We will do all the paperwork tomorrow at work and i'll give you your $2,000. Is that ok?"

I smiled from ear to ear and said "Evo.... eeerr.... yes, thats perfect."
