hey is it possable to put a manual transmmition in a car that already has an automatic? if so what are the drawbacks.

There are alot of drawbacks and it would be an expensive job, aint worth it. its not just putting in a manual box, clutch and different flywheel, you would have to change the alot of the dash, pedals, ECU's ect. Be a big job.

not worth it to pay someone to do, and since you're asking if its worth it obviously you are not going to be able to do it yourself. Stcik with auto or buy a manual. It is very possible though, my friends dad converted his 300zx to manual an it looked perfect.
