Why not just either get pliers or some channel locks and loosen it that way. Thats what id do. And do you mean the oil pan gasket?

No, its the transmission pan gasket. Pliers would just slip right off, havent tried channel locks though.... They might work

You want me to pull out my camera and take a picture of it for you? Better yet, pull out your haynes manual and look up manual transaxle. Car has oil pan and a transmission pan http://www.autozone.com/R,APP1129470/vehicleId,1981303/initialAction,partProductDetail/store,356/partType,01192/shopping/partProductDetail.htm somepeople call it the transmission pan, others the manual transaxle pan, either way same part

Im pretty sure only autos have a transmission pan. Ive never heard of a manual havign one. Even the link you provided it says right on it (A/T)

My car is an auto, haha i posted the wrong section of the haynes manual. But yea, inside the pan is also a filter. I got the filter and gasket for around $10. but i cant get the pan off
