My car is a 97 gst and for sum reason it boosts all the way to 30 pounds. I tried turning my mbc all the way up and all the way down and it doesn't change. Anyone got a clue what's wrong

your mbc is probably setup wrong like mine was. i would just take it all the way out and connect the line from the turbo to the wastegate and see if that changes it. do you have your mbc t'd into any lines? the best way is to just put it between the turbo and the wastegate is how i have mine setup. and i dont have any boost spikes. try that.

Well I would but there's only a line coming from the wastegate, none from the turbo, I got a big 16g with a td05 housing, if that helps. I know which line you mean and I don't have it. And yeah the mbc was t'd into the gauge first then tried the bov and still the same. Could it be a crappy boost controller?

Did it just start happening.. Or did you just install the boost controller?   If it just started happening could be your wastegate.

i don't think the gauge is wrong, although I got the greddy one that is in bars, which I hate. but i don't think the gauge is wrong, and yeah i'm going to order a new mbc, and jw how much would a new wastegate be?

aight here it goes, wastegate to bottom of mbc and other side tee'd off into the boost gauge(and no it's not that cuz i tried teeing it into the bov too), bov goes into the manifold

so you dont need my MBC? Somehow to me this seems like your having a problem more with the wastegate. Your on a 16g internal wastegate correct? There is a way to check if its working. I dont remember exactly how but it has to do with the actuator
