I'm thinking of getting a GPS navigation system for my car.  I apologize if this is not the appropiate forum for this question.  It's just that this is the only forum I go to, and you guys are the most knowledgable, so I'm hesitant to ask else where.  What do you think is a good/cheap GPS system?  And do you know any that would be able to fit into the dash board?

i dont know if there is such a thing as a cheap navi system. yes they do have setups that fit into the dash but then you get into more $$$

lol, not true. After all the basic upgrades, Tubro + NOS will do the trick.

panasonic has one for sure, b/c it's the one that i evenutally want to get.  It's like a 6 - 6 1/2 inch monitor that just sits and looks like an up to date factory unit.  but it's all touch and it does everything, radio, mp3, navi etc etc etc. very nice. not cheap!
