Yea it will work, i wouldnt bridge it though. If you do, dont run it full blast. You would be pushing 1000 watts to it. Recommended is 500 on the sub hince 500 Rmsgb

Who in the sweaty hell would make a 18" subwoofer that is only rated at 1kW? What brand is that?

Also, what are you powering the system with?? You would probably need to beef up your power source too..I would think you should get a Stinger dry cell battery, capacitors, beefier alternator, alternator relay, a line driver wouldn't be a bad idea either....DON'T GO WITH E-BAY JUNK!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO IT RIGHT! Here's what my system is and I'm hittin' well into the 152 DB's with the gains on my "sub amp" turned only a quarter of the way up; Shreffy's Stereo System: 2 Earthquake Magma 12 inch subs, 6 1/2 inch Earthquake mids in the doors, 3 1/2 inch Earthquake tweeters w/crossovers in the dash, Earthquake 6x9's in rear, Pioneer 6600 head unit with screen savers, Earthquake DHC 200 digital amp for subs, Earthquake 4 channel amp for highs, Audio Control line driver in console, American Eagle capacitor, Stinger dry cell battery in trunk, Stinger fans to cool amps, Pro Power 210 amp alternator, Stinger alternator relay under the hood, all Stinger wiring and RCA's, custom vented and ported enclosure made from 3/4 inch MDF custom made in the trunk to fit it perfectly.
