I am trying to get my wifes rotors cut on her 98 Montero Sport. The local shop only cuts rotors OFF the vehicle and I can't get past getting the callipers off. I tried everything in my abilitiy to figure it out, but I need some help ... quick.

can someone detail me on how to get the front rotors off the truck. I took the bearing cap off thinking I could slide the entire ass. off the axle and that didn't even work.

are you sure that the rotor is bolted on? i worked as a tech for quite a while and they can become galded onto the hub..try tapping around the wheel studs ON THE HAT of the rotor to work them loose. i dont recall if you have to remove the hub cap and take the nut out to get them off.
