i've posted this same question already but i was hoping i could get some extra advice, I drive a 94 galant, my new cold air intake is replacing my stock air filter, the old one had an O2 sensor, but the new one doesnt, when I start my car I olny hit 1000 rpm instead of the 2000 with the old filter, do you think a hood scoop would help with it? it sounds like it isnt getting enough air, but i dont know too much aboout it, or should I get my cpu chip reset. just wondering what to do...

You're going to have to replace the CAI with one that has the O2 in it, or what you can do is bung one in their. What size motor do you have?

I going to make a guess that what you really had was an intake air temp. sensor. That's why your high idle is not working. Did you check engine light come on? Maybe you got the wrong intake. I would contact the seller or mfg'r. Otherwise you are going to have to "bung" it in there.
