I have a 2004 GTS automatic,  I was wondering if this car has overdrive.  Does it do it automatically?  I haven't seen any buttons or anything.  My car only gets like 280 miles on a full tank of gas.

Is it a sporty?  the auto is a 4 speed so 4th is your OD.  and I have gotten like 390miles on one tank all highway.  so 300 is prob close to normal for city

I am currently getting only 275 mpg on my 2003 GS Auto. and that is mostly hwy driving. It is better than the 250 mpg I was getting when I first bought the car 2 months ago but I am hoping it will increase when I get the TB changed, synthetic oil change and new air filter and platinum plugs into it.

Yea but you have a turbo and probably drive your car hard. I bought the GS for gas economy and reliability as my main concerns and thought the milage would be better. To boot I think you run premium too ...... must be costly to run

Yea it is definately costly,  i have to fill my car up twice a week.  And i really dont drive it hard, otherwise i would probably get around 150 miles per tank.  Sometimes i think i should just walk to work lol.

400 miles on a full tank? i wish i could pull that off.
i have an 01 GT manual and im getting roughly 280 on a full tank (of course thats excluding the 2 remaining gallons when im on "empty"). then again, i tend to floor it more than i should. im just so used to driving a 4 cylinder that i cant really help myself now.
