Hello, I just bought a 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4, with 88000 miles on it. When I shift gears and pour on the gas I hear a short loud howling on the drivers side for about 3 seconds or more and this could happen shifting up in all gears. Then at times it starts to buck like its missing. The spark plugs were changed yesterday with platinum plugs for a vr4 and gapped correctly but its making this hideous noise and its spooky. Does anyone know whats happening? Is this normal? Can't see it being so. Appreciate any advice. Also what is normal on the temperature gage? My gage seems to be up more that half way to the red mark when I drive it? If I drive to hard in 4th gear it starts to creep up to the red. Is this normal also.
