So for the Eclipse, i'm thinking to spend $3.5 on a Turbocharger kit, and add a tranny cooler. A good friend of mine has installed a few turbochargers, and has agreed to help me if I purchase it.. So, I need some direction on what kits to go with.

I know how the turbocharger works, what parts are needed, but the specifics are sketchy to me.. (eg. Different aftermarket parts being compatable with eachother, buying all parts seperately).

These are what I am considering. I love my 3g, and I am sticking with it. F the RSX Type-S.
Question though: Will the turbo (kits) differ for an automatic car vs. a manual car (excluding transmission cooler).

What I need? (Correct?)
Turbocharger, Turbo Manifold, Downpipe + Adapter, Intercooler, Turbo Blow off valve, Intercooler piping, in-tank fuel pump, 6:1, 8:1 Fuel Pressure Regulator, Air Intake System, Gauges, Oil + Water lines, Hoses and clamps

Should I just stick with the kit, or go for individual parts?

Tredstone and Turbonetics are the best

I agree with your previous statement, Sebba, that I am not ready to put a kit together for myself, part by part.

I heard Tearstone had decent kits too, but I have to contact them. You are sure Turbonetics and Treadstone make 3g turbo kits?

Another thing of good news too- a friends dad, I found out, owns a few junkyards. If an trashed Evo VIII shows up, i'm the first to know. What parts should I scrap?

Nothing you can really grab from an EVO.

Not sure about turbonetics, but Treadstone for sure

I was thinking that i'd call Tearstone tomorrow, maybe they can do it if I speak with them. So Treadstone is a good bet if all others fail?

I'm aiming for around 3.5k TOPS for a price range. I'm looking for maybe, 10-15psi? Is this just another one of my dreams, or can 3.5k get me a 10-15psi kit?

No. Try 8psi, a load of problems.. and the kit itself is going to be more than 3.5K.
