I disagree, I mean everything is possible just depends how much money you want to spend.. I wanted to change the color of the lights behind the radio buttons and such.. this is definatley possible it would just mean taking out the light bulbs.. (yes their not LEDs.. its very stupid of them) and changing them to a different color.. the problem is getting to em

1. this thread is old
2. the color display is digital, not just some light bulb
3. chances are that even if there were some way of doing this, there's a good chance that the clock's internals will be damaged in the disection.

well right the clock/ radio display is digital.. but the lights behind the radio and AC controls is a tiny lightbulb.. this can be changed.. and with some money you could buy a new display that has a red color instead of that stupid azz orange.. I hate it too cause I want to change mine to blue..

The only thing that I can think of (and quite litterally just thought of it) would be to add a tinted film to the display. Since the backlighting is orange, it'd have to be some hue of green I'd imagine, but I'm not 100% sure. The effect (hopefully) would be the desired blue color display, although it might make the numbers slightly harder to read. Getting red......not sure what color that would take. I'm not good with color combinations, I just wire the stuff up.

Do this at your own risk if you want and i cannot assure you the structure of the circuit is the same
