The work you guys have done so far is amazing.  brian360, otaku, GPSeek, oly_57mpg !!

We can only ask for one more thing. Just a A-Z on how to put in a bigger HDD for more storage of mp3's etc.  please

Am I correct in thinking ....basically for a bigger HDD you need to unlock, remove, image drive, restore image onto bigger HDD, re install in unit? But do you have to make a partition bigger etc?

Please just an A-Z on upgrading to a bigger HDD ....thanks guys! You rock

cheers

steve

If you have a HDD hardware failure, you have to go to Mitsubishi to get a new one.
If the disk is OK but the data is messed up. you can copy the files back from an older image.
Now, is very important to know what software version you had.

There are no partitions or folders on my hdd any more. At least bios recognizes hdd. It is possible that the software version is BLD-NR-261EM 1.09.
I dont have any images, can you advise me where I could download them.

You must unlock the drive by following the instructions in the 1st post of this thread.  Until you unlock the drive, you won't see any partitions or files.  Each time you put the drive back in the MMCS the drive becomes locked again.  Is the MMCS giving you any error messages?

Thank you, all is fixed. It didn't occur to me that HDD becomes locked when installed back.
All I wanted was to have a different backround picture when activating, but then it didn't boot up any more.

Does anybody know how to get TomTom navigation system working in MMCS?. Is it even possible?

Last night I got the patch that works for my Evo X, but could not get any of the patches to work for my wifes ''07 Outlander.  Will someone point me in the right direction to the patch (and directions) to the patch that will allow moving DVD''s to be played on an ''07 Outlander??

Thank you , in advance!!!

Chris

Hmm..
The Denso system is completely different to the mitsu one : the only similarities are in the "real" data files : loading.kwi is not a standard format, and differs between the two units.

And thanks for the linkback to my site .. :)
