i have an 02 Mitsubishi Lancer ES.

i have a prob. w/ my car.  when i drive slow through a bumpy road, i hear something bouncing from my my driver side. i didn't put any aftermarket coilovers nor lowering springs. all stock suspension.  what may cause this noise?

You probably have a bad sway bar link, take it to a shop and have them check the front end for any kind of play.

A sway bar link isnt gonna cause play in the wheel. At least i couldnt see how. But a bad link will definitely cause some rattling. It could be ont of many things that make noise in the suspension though. Could be blown strut, ball joint, sway bar link, something could be loose

I agree that a link wont have play thats why he should take it to a shop to check the FE out to see if he has any play, like you said from a tie rod or balll joint.
