I just got a free Infinity 12inch 1240watts

For installing an amp and Infinity sub

These speakers any good?

good sub, but not as good as your apparently think they are. look at the RMS rating, the Reference series subs are rated at 300 watts rms, and are a 4 ohm DVC. still quite capable of making some good sound, but not 1240 watts worth.
