Do you have 45k+ for an EVO X? Didn't think so. Keep you dream close to reality.

I think it's too early to tell if the Evo X is going to perform better than the Evo IX.  The downfall of the Evo X, if anything, is going to be an aluminum block which has been known in the past to not hold up well against high boost.  As for looks it's a person's preference so it could go either way.

yeah but we were comparing it with the older styles as in bolt ons, because with bolt ons the IX is doing better than the X so far

Mike, are you telling me you can get 300awhp out of a IX from an exhaust, hard intercooler pipe, and boost controler?

well you'd have to tune it cuz you'll hit boost cut every other sec if you don't, and besides XS engineering added a hard pipe kit and got +7.8hp and 25.8tq, so yeah i think it prolly could, we'll see what mr evo himself says aka mike, lol

Yea IXs do better than that.  A flash and turbo back gets you 300

A FLASH. There we go. Thats not comparing apples to apples bro.

I think you could do the same thing, if not better on the X

there not adding hard pipes of any kind with the IX either though.   The IX is a much better go fast car.  A X prob has a different turbo not sure.  I havent been over EvoM in weeks so im not down on the lingo these days

That is an incorrect statemenet.

With hardpiping, a boost controller, and a catback, the downpipe made no difference.
