I have a ton of problems with my 3000. I bought it from a nice Christian guy who seemed trustworthy, you know, said everything was fine and all. It was fine for about a week, then I started having a ton of problems. The main issues right now are my alarm, starting, and transmisson.
Starting/starter: I've spent well over $1000 trying to fix my starter. I've replaced the starter, alternator, battery, battery cables, ignition switch, and a couple other little things, and it still isn't fixed right. Sometimes it will start on the first turn of the key, but most of the time not. I've counted up to 70 times I had to turn the key for it to start, and I have no idea whats wrong with it. Anyone ele have the same issue or suggestions on what it may be?
Alarm: Goes off randomly and it's getting really annoying. I just want to disable it. Anyone know how to or an easy way to do it?
Transmission: Whew. Okay, recently it has started acting up a lot. If I drive for a little bit, maybe 10-15 mins, and then put it in park (fast food, quick run in to get something, etc.) then back into drive, it accelerates very slowly then a big jerk into the next gear and won't shift into any gear after that. It seems like it starts out in 2nd and then shifts to 3rd and then won't shift anymore, rpm's go crazy high. But if I drive for a while then put it in park for an hour or more (when im at work or something) then start it up and drive again, it shifts fine. Anyone have the same problem or suggestions?
Help and/or suggestions on all this stuff would be great!
