I got really tired of my idle surging so I bought everything i could think of to fix it. I replaced the TB seals, put in a fiav block off plate (kept the IAC-they make a special plate for it), new biss screw, o-ring, and rubber cap, TB gaskets, aeromotive AFPR and adjusted the TPS. Now it idles perfectly at 800rpm. Just thought I would share for anyone that was having the same problems. If anyone needs any help or suggestions let me know. Have a good one guys.

It only took me about an hour once all the parts arrived. 98gstspy, my idle was really high when i first started my vehicle. I could screw the biss screw all the way in and it still wouldn't drop down. Every so often it would also surge from 1500-3000rpms. Then after it was warm it would idle really low and sometimes die like yours. I would say make sure the tps is set correctly, or if it is old, replace it. Its easier to adjust if you have a data logger or if you watch the voltage on the safc. I hope that helps brother. Thanks guys

I would definately replace the tps, but as far as The IAC i would wait and make sure there are no leaks first. If you have leaks in the throttle body the IAC won't be able to compensate for them after a certain point. If fixing the leaks and the tps doesn't fix the problem, then start testing the IAC.
