Hi, I’m a grad student and I’m starting my thesis on Mitsubishi’s brand definition. As far as I can remember someone in my family has owned a Mitsubishi. My parents have owned 2 Monteros and I am thinking about buying an EVO.

I’m doing a deep dive on who Mitsubishi drivers are and what their hobbies/ interests are. I hope to eventually use this thesis to get a marketing job with Mitsubishi. With your input I hope to improve the company’s brand image. Please help by answering as many questions as possible and thanks in advance!

1) I was 17 when I bought my 00 GS , I was 20 when I bought my 02 GT spyder, I was 21 when I bought my 03 Evo, and I was 23 when I bough my 2nd GT spyder

2) used , used, used, used The Evo only had 12k when I picked it up
3)at this time NONE , maybe another Evo but that is all.
4) Evo Turbo AWD, spyders for the vert

7) NO , unless my sisters count one of which also ownes a 02 GT eclipse lol
8) not sure hahah oh male duh

11)I dont in the car, I listen to the car and all its noises

13)umm I just sold the Evo so um I dont really love it for a few reasons

1) I was 16
2) Was it new or used? Used '96 RS...
3) Just any Eclipse, at the time I didn't know anything about the different models or packages
4) Cause I really like the body lines of the Eclipse, and I wanted something pretty quick
5) '96 RS, now currently own a '95 GSX project car
6) Burton, OH
7) Meaning married and kids? No I'm only 20
8) Male
9) I've had so many I couldn't even tell ya, I worked at an amusement park, grocery store, church, body shop, was a salesman for at&t, and now currently work at kohls
10) Working on cars, playing music, and messing around with some sports
11) Hard Rock, and pretty much anything else
12) Scrubs, King of Queens, and Family Guy
13) Cause it's going to be the fastest most reliable car that I've owned so far, and it's gonna look sweet on top of it haha

1)     How old were you when you bought your Mitsubishi vehicle? 21

2)     Which model did you buy? When I was 21, '97 Eclipse Spyder GS, now I have a '99 Eclipse GS-T coupe Was it new or used? Used

3)     Which other models were you considering at the time? Nothing else

4)     Why did you choose Mitsubishi? I have liked the 2nd generation Eclipses since they came out in 1995 but fell in love with the '96 Spyder when someone showed me one up close and personal

5)     How many and which Mitsubishi models have you previously owned? 2. My first was a '97 Eclipse Spyder GS and the second one which I still currently own is a '99 Eclipse GS-T coupe. This is my 2nd one but I have owned it for 5 years now and my first one I owned for 3 1/2 years. I'm a Mitsu owner for life now.

7)     Do you have a family? Just a g/f and her 4 year old son

9)     What is your occupation? Master Certified Ford/Mercury Sales Consultant and Assistant Finance Manager

11) What are your 3 favorite types of music you listen to in your Mitsubishi? Hard Rock, Classic Rock, Rap

12) What are your 3 favorite TV or cable show? Lockdown, NFL games, NASCAR racing

13) Why do you love your Mitsubishi? I love the styling, the performance, how acceptable to mods it is, and the looks my Eclipse gets. I have had no problems what so ever with my Mitsubishis that I have owned. You should ask the girls why they love my Mitsu LOL.
