try it on a CR-V and a RAV-4, or any car for that matter, and tell me what you experience.

pressure differentials cause that on most vehicles.

yannie, i have the same problem it is the wind hitting the rear seatbelt and bouncing around. the flat strap of the seatbelt flops back and fourth so fast it makes an awfaul sound. the first time it happened my wife was driving it and thouhgt she had a blowout

If its that big of a deal, then thats why you can add wind deflectors.

I have the OEM one like the one on the picture and I love them there wide enough and really well made to.

Very common noise. Its not the seat belts flapping its a change in air pressure. Try it when you have a head cold.

I also drive a 2008 Silverado that does the same thing with just the drivers side open. I also have a 1993 Sliverado that doesnt do it.

It seems to get worse as the cars get newer, I suspect some aerodynamic thing happening.

I had to chuckle, I have the same mirror noise in the new Silverado as the Outie, and the hesitation but not as bad.

not to try and stop an "unbearable"  thread but there must be a better subject to have a thread on than this noise/air pressure issue...I thought that everyone knew about this common thing that shows up on alot of vehicles.  I suggest to buy the wind deflectors or turn the AC on and all will be better.

I have the 20AE IY #0399 and a Graphite Grey 07 LS 4wd...you have good taste!  How did #3600 do around the Mid-Ohio Raceway?
If you want to part with you Outlander 18" wheel let me know. (prob should have PM this, but...)
