hi Just bought a 06 eclipse gt v6 w/24000 miles - $16.5k - it was basically love at first sight - loved the flow of the body - plus it has the sport package - everything but a nav system after buying the car i took it to mitsub dealer to have it checked out - for my peace of mind - and to check on any recalls - they found that there was a recall for the cats and reprogrammed the pcm wow - i thought the car was fast before - but - after the cats got reprogrammed it felt faster anyway i was wondering if there is some sort of grille -aftermarket- to fill in the space on the lower bumper - in between the fog lights somehow - i think leaving this open might leave some problems -- thanks in advance bob

Hey pullenpoynt and welcome. I also have an 06' GT and I bought the bottom grille piece, top grille pieces, and back license plate grille piece online at www.grilleguy.com. Their prices are way more reasonable than any other online place that I have seen thus far. Like $100-$150 all together difference, which is always better in the long run to have more money for parts. They come in different color options and hole patterns. They can even customize grilles for special body kits and vents. Not to mention if they are installed correctly they look great. -Dan

You may have been able to save some money on the grilles. How much was the one you bought? What is this recall you speak of? They reprogrammed your cats and now you have more power? Did they do this for free? I may be looking into doing this myself..
