my gstvs a co workers mustang that supposdly has internal work done....race is for 500 and its not the 5.0 ......

Need more info on both cars, stock head 2 head would go to the better driver, they run very similar 1/4 times.

So is it the v6 mustang, if your car is the gst spyder with the mods you have listed you should walk him easily.

i thnk its the v8 but it a 5 spd...and he claims that his intake manifold had some work done..also  his head ported and polished ...but i dnt think  my car is running at full potential i thinki have exhaust leak and my lower tie rods are  bad im also running stock boost...but a mechanic told me i had a bad weld in the back part of my exhaust  so if i run open down pipe that could help right?

The v-8's are over-rated, a gsx could beat a mustang in the 1/4 mile.

he has a GST, and nothing really that is a performance upgrade..  Hes not pushing much more than the stock hp from the GST...

it will come down to the driver. Both cars are about a high 14 sec car.
