I've searched but have not found a how-to on AC removal from Evo IX. I never use it anyways, so I would mind saving the weight up front. Thanks.

The weight is minimal, thats not why people remove it.

only 120hp cars worry about A/C weight.

You have a damn near 300hp car that runs low 13's stock.  The A/C weight has no effect.

If I lived in the Arctic I would probably get rid of my A/C....anywhere else just keep it.  I ran 12.3 at the dragstrip yesterday with my A/C intact...!!!

This winter in Michigan feels pretty darn close to the arctic. LOL!!! So why do people remove the AC if not for weight savings.? Thanks for all the input. This forum is very helpful and has tons of knowledgable people here. Much appreciated!!
It is a good 30 lbs in the front of the car though!!

Because when its on, it puts a little extra load on the engine making less power go to the wheels. Only fully built race cars remove the A/C
