OUCH, that sounds like crap. But like the person that posted the picture said, it was the lifters. You may need to replace them. I would try an oil change and see if it quiets them at all

How much does it cost to replace the lifters? I have tried using different oils and doesn't seem to have much improvement.

Have you tried a compression test just to make sure its not an internal problem like the valves. I would also do that just to be absolutely sure its just the lifters

I havent tried a compression test yet. Whats the normal range for each?

You should probably be somewhere in the 170-190 range. And no 1 cylinder should be more than 14psi difference from the others
