It was a dealer option package. Mostly a sticker and audio package.... Nothing mechanical.
To quote Mitsu:
Eclipse Coupe and Spyder both add the REMIX Edition which includes topstitched charcoal leather front seating surfaces, a leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob; a six-speaker, a 210-watt audio system with 6-disc in-dash CD changer; a chrome exhaust tip; 16-inch SXC alloy wheels; and color-keyed door mirrors. Eclipse adds three new colors: Liquid Silver, UV Blue, and Platinum (REMIX Edition).
