I know this is ****ing retarded but i am just now getting around to finding the problem with my car. This weekend i am gonna do the compression test again and do the wet test.

What i was wondering is about what is the average price on a leak down test because i am having a garage do that part.

Also, the problem with my car is that there is a miss in the turbo. I'll be driving and right before i hit boost( or right after boosting for a few seconds my boost will just not work and kind of sputter) my car doesnt die or anything it just runs at the same speed. SO i cant really go over 85-90 because when 5th gear boost kicks in it sputters. Also im running rich and stalling out some of the time when i stop.

I got my cylinder leakage tester for abt $100.00 and I did it myself.  Most shops dont really do tests like that.

alright. i did the test and all cylinders were around 150. Then i ran the wet test on the lowest and it went up to 180 so i guess its the rings. But would the rings be the reason why my boost does the missing thing i mentioned at the top.
