I don't think its gunna be possible to run 500awhp safely with 6 grand. Let me use the great example of emonz's car and how he had 10 grand in it with 400whp. What mods do you have as of right now? Because you're gunna need a lot to run it safely

It depends what mods you have now.  and which Evo you have but its not likly to get that much power without spending a little more than $6k.  I have around $10k into my car and it only makes 410 on pump.  on race gas and or meth it would hit 500.  Also keep in mind I went with a street setup with a 50trim obviously a 35r would get closer to 500 on pump BUT the spool time sucks.  it was a difference of a 50trim hitting full spool at 4100 or a 35r hitting at close to 5000.

The cheapest way to hit close to 500 would be a FP Evo Green turbo.  they wont make 500 but they are a cheap upgrade  they will get you mid high 400s on pump gas and meth combo.

Hey do you think that it's worth getting the FP Green turbo upgrade? My goal, at least for now, is 380-400 AWHP. I'm wondering if I would be able to get 380 all wheel HP with the stock turbo, without putting too much stress on it? With my car being an '05 VIII GSR, I'm goanna safely say that the turbo system is a TD05HR 16G6 w/ a 10.5T hot side. Would 380AWHP be too much for the stock unit?

FP green is a perfect setup for your HP range and then some.  you can get close to 500 on a Green with meth or race gas

Mike21, right now I'm running the FP green turbo and got it dynoed at 386whp on 93 octane gas (conservative tune).  Sometime around the end of the year I will be purchasing a water/meth injection kit which should put me around 400 - 470whp.

If you want to stick with your stock turbo you could probably hit 380whp but your power curve will be a nice arrow on the dyno and the peak tq/horsepower will be lower than it would with an FP green therefore producing less acceleration.  If you can get the FP green I'm with Emonz in recommending you purchase it for your horsepower goals.  However, for the FP green make sure you port your exhuast manifold, 02 housing, and get a set of cams.

Ya the pf green is the way to go . I ordered mine along with FP o2 housing and FP turbo manifold and fully ported turbo and 18psi wastegate. Along with running crower stage 2 cams. from what i've heard using that with my current level of mods i'll be hitting 400whp

Yeah, the FP Green does sound like a good deal. I'm getting a bit confused with the o2 housing and the hotside though. Is the o2 and the hotside the same? Is (2) and (3) two different pieces?
