Hello everyone...

I have an 02 Montero Sport ES. I've had problems with a couple of my gauges so I'm swapping the cluster out. The odometer is digital, will the mileage transfer to the new cluster, or will the junkyard cluster's mileage show???

Please, if you know the answer for sure, help!!!

Thanks for your time,

Steve

The speedometer mileage of the new cluster is what will be displayed wether it be higher or lower than your existing mileage.   When i worked for Mitsubishi- we generally shipped out both the old cluster and the replacement cluster to a company called Specmo Enterprise.   They'd generally burn in the current mileage fo the failed cluster into the new one.   You can reach them at www.specmo.com.
