Supra engine swap

BlackMurcielago -> Supra engine swap (3/16/2008 7:03:13 PM)

Okay this kid i was talking to has a 2003 eclipse gs and is telling me that he is buying a single turbo Supra engine and going to just "drop it in"
Granted i know nothing of 3rd gen just second, can that even be done while staying the the relm of reality.

Here are the problems i found with his idea.
First inline 4 to inline 6 turbo
Side mount motor to a straight back motor
Rear wheel drive motor to front wheel drive car ( supra motor in the eclipse)

Now i openly admit i could be wrong but i think the amount of custom fabrication would be astonishing

What do you guys think

YOu could also put a Bugatti motor on a moped, but it doesnt make it any less retarded.

Sebba -> RE: Supra engine swap (3/16/2008 7:20:10 PM)

Hes a ****ing moron... nuff said.

lhausi2 -> RE: Supra engine swap (3/16/2008 7:22:28 PM)

yeah that kidds retarded, there's an accord with 2 motors, doesn't mean sh** dude
and if it's a single turbo poopra engine it means the turbo's already upgraded

EMonz57 -> RE: Supra engine swap (3/16/2008 7:24:36 PM)

not even EVER going to happen.  you cant even put that into a celica which is build by toyota

Sebba -> RE: Supra engine swap (3/16/2008 7:25:17 PM)

Exactly lo. There was no single turbo 2JZ

EMonz57 -> RE: Supra engine swap (3/16/2008 7:29:02 PM)

not from toyota there is no single 2JZ but lots of single 2j's out there

Dusty Eclipse -> RE: Supra engine swap (3/16/2008 8:11:13 PM)

No,  most people still ask "why get rid of the twins for one? , I though two is better"
