When I press break...makes Noise !

I just bought 2000 eclipse GS. It has only 90,000 M on it.
I love the car until recently its giving me problem when I press the break

It makes weired noise. Grr...Grr like someone drilling the car.[:o]

But when I pull to parking the noise goes away. I tried the triptonic it same noise.
I don't get any engine sing....or any other sing.

I have no clue what it could be.................please need some feedback !!!!!!!!!

Can it be transmission problem?

The sound comes from under the hood.

No its not from front wheel. When I press brake the noise comes from the hood. I just checked it.  By searching other froumz some one had the same problem and it was the transmission. My friend is telling to get transmission Tune-Up. Is that going to do any help?

no its not going to help. if the gears are grinding then its already f ucked. check the fluid condition. its there is little sparklies in it ur [sm=owned.gif] . if you flush the transmission you could make it worse.

I think fluid condition is fine. The previous owner had fluid injector from Jeffy lube. I didn't change the engine oil yet but going too. I hard flushing the transmission make better? why its going to make it worse? plez let me know because I am going to a Auto repair shop this weekend----since I have no other choice.....[:(]

so does it only make the noise when you hit the break?  I would still try and change the pads first to be sure, its only like 50 bucks for good new pads.  If your transmission was acting up you would notice alot more than just squeeking.  Start with the simplest repair and move up from there.

Thank you for the reply "bestwiseguy" I am totally nob as eclipse owner. If it was a break problem isn't should sound by wheels? How come the sound coming from under the hood and its getting worst? But still I am not getting any sing.
