Shadow_USMC -> Rear end alignment (3/23/2008 9:29:09 AM)
I have a 2005 Galant. Recently I fishtailed on the freeway and hit the center divider with my left rear side. My tire is now angled at an inward position. I changed the wheels just in case the rim was bent but the new wheels are angled in the same direction like this \ I found that a metal bar that comes from the rear of the car and connects to where my calipers mount was bent. I straitened it out but when I lowered my car the wheel was still angled in the same direction but not as bad. I jacked it back up and took another look but everything is in tact. I was reading around and was wondering if it is possible that my shock is broken and I can't tell and that is what causing my wheel to pull in on the bottom. I am new to suspension and this is my first Mitsubishi. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out with this issue.

If any parts are bent or broken I would replace them instead of trying to fix it. And you said you lowered your car, how much? You just might need a camber kit.
