Well I was driving to work on a local highway going abt 55-60 mph and out of nowhere the car makes a horrible noise and comes to stop pretty quickly.  So I am guessing my transfercase locked up or something?  The reacall has been done already so idk.  Anything like this happen to anyone.

Well it stalled but it runs fine, the car just dosent really move.  Why was this moved to the 1gen section, 2gens have the same problem?

could be your t-case. also drain your trans fluid to see how it looks. chances are something seized up in one of those two things

More than likely t-case. Like Eric said, see what your fluid looks like.

When did you last change it?

I used synthetic and pretty much filled it till it poured out of the check plug.  I have done this several times to my other dsm's so I know thats ok.  I got the car towed to my work so I'll get to check the t/c and rear fluid and condition.
