how much did that run you?

Yes, I had my door jams painted too.
My car painted with door jams and a few cracks fixed in a fender came out to be just under $1000.
Not bad for a sweet paint job but still a lot of money for me... :(

sk8dudety -> RE: Silver to Black (4/3/2008 11:01:16 PM)

yea thats not bad at all for a full paint job

dsm1990gsx -> RE: Silver to Black (4/4/2008 7:55:06 AM)

Wow not bad at all, what was the shops name that did it?

TheEngineer -> RE: Silver to Black (4/4/2008 8:11:15 AM)

wow $1000. Well i always say you get what you pay for. For that price im willing to bet that it wont last more than 2 years before you start noticing things. Unless you just got lucky and got a really good deal, or you know the person or something.

v8eater -> RE: Silver to Black (4/4/2008 10:02:42 AM)

Yeah, it was a local shop and they gave me a good deal since they know me and understand that I am a poor college student. I'm not to worried about it...

PoolhallJunkie777 -> RE: Silver to Black (4/8/2008 6:54:45 PM)

thats nice, how much did it cost you. im looking to to repaint my car in a fade. just wondering how much it will cost.

sk8dudety -> RE: Silver to Black (4/8/2008 9:20:55 PM)

dude ya gotta read the rest of the posts... it cost him $1000, he got it done by a local shop with some friends, so it was way low... if you wanna get a quality paintjob like his with the door jams and whatnot, especially a color change, you could be lookin anywhere from 2k-4k, depending on color and body damage

PoolhallJunkie777 -> RE: Silver to Black (4/9/2008 7:07:22 PM)

didnt see that

TheEngineer -> RE: Silver to Black (4/10/2008 6:13:09 AM)

a normal shop will charge you 1.5k-2k for a respray of the same color. I paid 2k for mine
