I want to attach a set of sensors on my rear bumper. I drive a 99 Mitsubishi carisma.

I was wondering if I could attach the computer thingy for the sensors to the little digital screen in my dashboard, the one that gives the cars mileage?

you mean the backup sensors that beep when youre aout to hit something?

Ya,.....

Don't they come with a screen of some sort that tells you how far away are you?

Some of them.... others just beep... about the screen.... i think youre actually talking about the back up camera... to which theres a tutorial for on the outie section =)

I know the camera one, but I am talking about how once I saw this car that had sensors, and there was this little screen with numbers, and it would beep and tell you the distance left until you hit!

OOHH!!! and you want your lil screen to actually show those numbers there? thats gonna require a huge amount of electronics... that might have been stock.... im pretty sure that if theres an aftermarket kind... its gonna come already with a ready to install screen
