Don't know if you guys were referring to my last post or not, but i was suggesting we find a dealer willing to order 100-150 discs w/update codes and sell them to us at a discount since there'd be so many of us buying them.  I can't see spending $100 for an update that's already 2 yrs old, but for $60 i'd be willing.

As you stated i do believe that each disc can only be used for one individual MMCS update (or per individual user code).  From past posts it sounds like it takes a couple hours (i think 100 mins was posted) to load/update and the vehicle has to be running for it to work.

I'll let you guy know, what is in the package once I open it.  For now, the order is still in processing status.  If you guys start calling around your dealership to find out if they offer group buys, that will be great. Good luck to all.  Keep you guys posted.

I'm finally getting it today.  It took awhile to get the update. I'll keep everyone posted on the update.
Thanks!  I know BINO ordered one too.  I wonder did he update his yet?

UPS just dropped it off.  Here's the items in the box.  Looks like you cannot share, it comes with this cdkey plug unit.  I will do it this weekend. I dont understand why you have to leave the engine on for 2 hours?  Burn fuel?  Looks like they got some updated features.

Keep you posted.

I think you just need to leave the engine on to prevent discharge of the battery.  However, the instructions seem to imply that if you shut the car off, the update will stop, but will resume when you turn the car back on.  So depending on how long your commute is, you could probably just do the update while driving :)
