I have an intermittent fault too. Alarm goes off randomly when cars or people drive/walk past it. Dealer couldn't locate problem as alarm didn't go off at the garage?? The sensor is near the interior lights which is perforated in the plastic. I shall look at my led flashes next time to see how many there are. Thanks for that.

My alarm did the five flashes of the LED again this morning after being fine for a week.

I've noticed a possible connection. Every time it has occurred has been at work and after a Toyota RAV4 has parked next to me.

I don't know enough about the alarm and its sensors but could it be possible that the key remote or the alarm on the Toyota upsets my car?

Might have to find who owns the RAV4 and do a few tests.
