As I was detailing our new Outtie, I noticed this piece of the wiper cowl will not mount underneath the lip of the fender.  As you can see the tab should be under the fender.  I tried for 20 mins+  and couldn't get it to stay.  I took it to the dealership today and they said all the other Outlanders on the lot have that too, and it's supposed to be that way.

Do any of your passenger side tabs stick out like this?  The driver's side is fine.

Same problem here, well its not really a prob, if you wouldn't have pointed it out, I would have probably never noticed it.

LOL yeah, I have a very keen eye for details.  You'd think since I don't drive it every day it wouldn't bother me, but I figured...oh hell, it's under warranty, let the dealer fix it, right?

I had the same problem on my 2007. I noticed it right away too.

I corrected it by opening the hood and pulling the assembly down and toward the front of the car on the passenger side. It took a few times of seeing how the piece was installed and moved, but eventually it popped into place. The assembly sat about 1/4" further down the windshield too. Going on 6 months with no problems of it popping back.

I hope that helps.

Same here on my euro '08 - will try to get it to pop back into place per tx.mitsu's advice.
