What would it depend on? What brands are there out there that would make that big of a difference? How pricey are they?

well i see alot of v8 chips but no 4-6 cylinder chips :( but with air intake, aftermaket exhaust sytem and maybe a intake manifold you get the extra 30 to 40HP ill look it up for you.

its a fake and a rip dont get some ebay special chip thats something extreamly important on ur ride man if it was an intake or a cat back that cant really be screwed up besides crappy metal and wrongly bent pipe's stick with the intake and the exauhst system for now man....... better yet get a new UDP (under drive pully aka crank) its been said u get the most gain for ur dollar that way

Yeah those ebay chips are just 2000 ohm resistors that shorts the sensor and changes the air fuel ratio. So unless its a venom or dmslink stay with the simple mechanical upgrades.

just get a dyno run and let them give you a chip. they will tell you where your shift points are(manual) and what you need to do in order to make hp/tq with your car.
