Murray82 -> RE: 20" Wheels (5/8/2008 7:25:48 PM)

Hello Deoutlander, I recently had 20's put in my 07 LS and the only thing wrong I noticed is the gas mileage is different, a little road noise too but not mcuh. I also had the shop that put my wheels on and switch out my TPMS so I can't be of any help there. I'm running WANLI tires S1089 and the size is 245/40ZR20 99W XL. I noticed on the highway I used to run 70 mph just below 2k rpm, now its about 2.2k rpm at 70 mph. The guy at the shop said it is probably rolling resistance since there is a lot more rubber hitting the road. My gas mileage is also not registering properly. It shows I get around 20 to 22 on the highway but the bar at the bottom of the LED is usually sitting right above the 25 mpg, so it's off a little bit. It previously showed 23 to 25 on highway. I tested my odometer with someone by tripping and running for about 4 miles and there was no difference. I like the way they handle and especially the way they look, really sets off the vehicle.
