i have a 1998 mitsubishi eclipse spyder 2.4 non turbo, just replaced clutch and slave cylinder. my problem is the clutch is soft until 3 or 4 inches off the ground and then you got to push really hard to get it to disingaug, or to hit the switch to get started. ive bled it and tried to adjust the pedal but no luck. any ideas

It will change a little. Thats pretty normal, new clutches are pretty hard to drive on the first few miles. Just treat it right, don't beat on it, and it will do you proud.

Seriously dude it will get softer. There is absolutly nothing you can do.

There is a very slight chance the master cylinder is a little sticky.... might want to check it out.

You can also adjust the clutch pedal so that it eliminates that last little part.
