hey. i am new here.

am contemplating getting a mitsubishi i.

one question though.

whats the general consensus on the fuel consumption?

heard its 13km/l

Welcome to MF "bi".  Most of us here in the US have no idea what this thing is much less answer that question for you honestly.  It looks like an egg on wheels to be honest with you.  Anyway, I would suggest doing some more research on it.  Here's a start, Mitsu i wiki

Hi,

I have had my i since August 2007 (one of the first batch in the UK).

I just checked and I got about 11.7km/l on the last tank (33 UK MPG or 27.5 US MPG). Not as economic as expected but still a nice little car and people never cease to be amazed how big it is inside!

I take the i up hills and speed bumps every day so I guess I get about the worst possible figures.
