Hi I was wondering everyone's thoughts on TSB's. I have an 07 LS. The dealer wants to charge me to check out the TSB's and to make any corrections?

They said TSB's are not the same as recalls and only 1% of cars probably have the issue. Some cars have hundreds of TSB's out on them.

TSB's are only meant to help the technician

Yeah man, I know what TSB's are.  I am a tech.  1% is bullshit though.  There wouldn't be a bulletin if it wasn't a common problem/solution.  But why would they want you to pay them to check your car for applicable TSB's?  Maybe I am misunderstanding here.  Do you have any concerns that you want addressed?  Or just want to have your car brought up to the latest?  Either way, if you are still under warranty, there should be no charge.

No concerns although there does seem to be some hesitation at times. Really I just wanted everything brought up to the latest.

Maybe I will see if they can check it out at the first service appointment

I had to tell the dealer all my TSBs I was having problems with. They fixed them for free but didnt bother checking for anything else. If you dont have the problem, they wont bother checking for others.

no manufacturer is going to do anything to your car without having some complaints.
you wont be able to go in and say "whatever you've seen broken I want fixed".
