Thanks for the updates. I'll have to give it a go with a 2nd hard drive, too. I'd hate to see it checking the serial number of the hard drive or something.

I haven't had a chance to try the test update CD that otaku prepared. I've been busy this past week and will likely be busy through the weekend still.

Is possible that the unit checks some features for HDD: thermal feedback or something. The one I had is a regular HDD and may not have some special automotive specific features... Had to check

Hopefully otaku had time to prepare also a 261-EM version for EU :)

Download archive, extract the files, burn the ISO file and read the README file inside the archive.

rcostin-Otaku, I have problem:

Start the process patch but in MMCS shows "Verificando disco" and nothing sucess...

On CD burned only file "loading.kwi" is listed.

When I Unrar MMCS-261UM show the next:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrador\Escritorio\MMCS-261UM.rar: La información de autenticidad no es válida o está dañada

Help please ! ! !

I check MMCS-E-DVD.rar, and this patch YES contains the ALLDATA.KWI

Otaku, will be possible to put in a CD the ALLDATA.KWI version MMCS-E-DVD and loading.kwi version MMCS-261UM together, and try install the patch? Otherwise, I will wait for to that rcostin postee patch with the "lost" file. . .
