I''''ve already given Otaku the 00.30.97 files, hopefully he can get a patch for that version for DVD in motion soon.  He said he''''s look into it when he has time.  So all we can do now is wait.

...putting down the screwdriver...

...thanks akmeikle... now all I can do is wait patiently.  Wonder if there''s a "sponsor a mod" link somewhere... I''d toss Otaku a couple bucks to get this working - especially if there''s also some way to change the "Mitsubishi Motors" start-up graphic.

The startup graphic is just a .bmp image sitting on the hard drive, that''s an easy one to change.  You just need to unlock the drive and replace the .bmp with another .bmp of your choosing.

Hey all,

I just got a new 09'' Lancer GTS last week and was looking at trying to get the DVD in motion working like all of you, my only problem is it appears I''m at App: 30.99 and the newest App I''ve seen anyone talk about is 3.97. If anyone still has the time I''m sure I could get the files uploaded that are required to get the in motion DVD working, or if anyone else has done anything with 30.99 any info on it would be appreciated.

Thanks

...pick screwdriver back up...

Any chance you know the path to the file?  Image size would rock too but I''d probably be able to figure that out pretty easily once I start playing around with the file.  Thinking of replacing the "Mitsubishi Motors" image with an "Umbrella Corporation" logo.  Sure, it''s Fanboy but it''s better than the silly "you''re driving a Mitsu" thing.

I just unlocked my HDD, changed the startup image and its still the default Mitsubishi logo... what added steps are there that I am missing. I just went out and tried a ''''''''memory initialization'''''''' but that didn''''''''t change the startup logo either.

I also however got the two Files necessary to get the DVD in motion hack started, this is beyond me so if anyone has time to take a look at the new App version: 00.30.99 I would appreciate it and i''''''''m sure that others will be coming along with the new version.

Here is the ''''''''ALLDATA.KWI'''''''' and the ''''''''LOADING.KWI'''''''' for App: 00.30.99 :::
http://www.uploading.com/files/TWGKF2QU/Nav003099.zip.html
::: If anyone can take a look at these files and figure out and post the ''''''''hacked'''''''' version that would be awesome.

One other question... will this still work even with the newest version out, or is it necessary to edit the two individual files like I''ve seen in this thread in the past? I''m running v.109 and NR-261UM.

I downloaded the patch but it would not work.  I have Roxio on my computer.  Someone suggest that I download an ISO burner which I did.  I make the disc with the ISO burner.  Put it in the MMCS and it asked if I wanted to upload. I hit yes.  THen it has some messagae like progress up-grade...then the screen went blank.  I waited 20 min and still blank.  I disconnected the battery in hopes of zeroing it out, but still blank screen.  Every time I start the car I get the progress upgrande then the screen goes blank..Any way to reset this thing?  Any suggestion?

You have to pull the hard drive and copy the "loading.kwi" file over manually.
