You really need to know which generation of eclipse you are after in order for anyone to help you.

They both have a 4g63 engine, and honestly the way I would build it if money was no object, Would be to make a 4g63 stroker with a 4g64 crank. You will have alot of torque that way. Great for a street performer. Go to www.slowboyracing.com and www.hahnracecraft.com and do your research.

thanx man

Another thought. The 4g63 is a great engine and will be an amazing performer without going and trying to do a swap which will require all kinds of retrofitting wires and such. get the gst or especially the gsx for a great AWD monster. stay away from the RS, too much money required to make it truely powerful.

thanx i was thinkin bout doin that but since somebody else said ill do it lol
what will it run 15s?

You should start a thread on the eclipse section of this forum and ask that question. My knowledge is pretty much limited to the 1g but the 2g is similar. One thing I do know is that the GSX is THE car to have. If you want to go for serious power the AWD setup will give you the launches and the traction you want, and much better than the FWD could.[sm=gears.gif]
